Animal Crossing for the Wii: MMO Style?

Next Generation is saying that the next Animal Crossing installment for the Wii will be an MMO. For those of you who don't know what an MMO is, MMO stands for "massively multiplayer online" game, meaning that lots of people can play at once. World of Warcraft and Second Life are two popular examples of MMO's.

Animal Crossing is absolutely perfect for the genre. This shows that the development team are focusing on making the game more online/wifi based. Hopefully this means the end of friend codes too.
