MMO Animal Crossing Followup

Matt Casamassina, the editor-in-chief of the IGN Nintendo Team, recently revealed in the latest episode of his podcast, Wii-k in Review, that he thinks that the possibility of Animal Crossing becoming a MMO is legit. They also talk about rumors of a Pokemon MMO years ago and that MMO seems to go against Nintendo strategy on Wii.
Matt is one of the guys that seems to know the most about the new Animal Crossing for the Wii, so if he thinks it's legit, then odds are he's right. There still hasn't been any official announcements yet, but we can keep wishing though.
